Description:

This IT Project Manager on the OSS (Operations Support Systems) Architecture team will prepare, review and provide oversight for architectural enablers and architectural artifacts for our large programs in the SAFe framework (Scaled Agile Framework). Person in this role will closely align with Solution and System Architects for programs in SAFe framework and will be responsible for preparing, versioning, management, sign-off, and distribution of High-Level Architecture (HLA) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation. You will ensure that relevant architectural backlog items are captured in JIRA, Agile Central and tagged to corresponding program increments and agile teams are working under the SAFe framework. You will be regularly and on need basis, be generating reporting of architectural backlog features, user stories from JIRA, Agile Central and manage the architectural work pipeline. You will partner with architects with domain expertise and assist them in work de-composition and forecasting/planning activities of work to various stakeholders. You will oversee all planning, execution, reporting and related escalation management for architectural work items for programs running in SAFe framework.

Specific duties include:

•Act as POC (Person of Contact) for all architectural enabler items in SAFe

•Oversee the creation and management of Architectural Artifacts such as High Level Architecture (HLAs), Low Level Design (LLDs) and other architecture documents

•Regular and proactively manage communication with Solution and Systems teams to ensure timely generation and distribution of artifacts

•Define, manage, and streamline project activities as it pertains to the architecture groups(s).

•Develop and manage deliverables to plan

•Ensure all processes are documented and efficiently working for the project(s)

•Maintain and publish status for all projects in progress

MUST HAVE SKILLS

You'll need to have:

*Telecom background

* Google Slides

•Six or more years of relevant work experience.

•Knowledge of SAFe framework, prioritization, roles and delivery.

•Knowledge and experience with JIRA, Agile Central and Confluence

•Skills in Microsoft Office product suite, including PowerPoint, Excel & Word

•Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

DESIRED SKILLS:

•Seven or more years of Project Management experience with proven track record and experience with deploying and delivering complex solutions.

•SAFe Certification

•IT Background

•Demonstrated experience with verbal & written communications.

•Ability to foster relationships and present to Director/Exec-Director within the Client Organization.

•Advanced skills in Microsoft Office product suite, including PowerPoint, Excel & Word.

•Familiarity with Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and network elements.

•Experience in OSS domains and functions related to Engineering, Provisioning, Activation, Service Assurance, Trouble ticketing, Network, Managed Systems.

•Proven leadership skills & capabilities.

•Ability to manage and negotiate with required internal and external organizations.
•Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
