Business Development Manager

Primary Duties

  • Achieve goals by turning warm leads into client engagements and by developing business from existing accounts.
  • Develop new business by working with the team to identify opportunities through effective research, helping execute marketing tactics, and demand generation initiatives.
  • Create opportunities through consultative sales with new and existing clients.
  • Effectively manage a pipeline from lead through engagement.
  • Present Radiant capabilities and relevant experience to potential clients.

Job Requirements

  • Have a solid understanding of technology services and typical development and deployment needs
  • 5+ year experience in a business development role
  • Experience with solution and consultative sales
  • Achieve annual business development targets
  • Use a consultative selling approach to promote the full scope of Radiant services with an enterprise-wide focus.
  • Prepare and execute strategic account plans
  • Effectively manage sales pipeline and expand new and existing accounts
  • Create effective sales proposals and discovery documents, working with internal teams for requirements gathering and solution architecture while leading the business development cycle
  • Conduct face-to-face presentations with prospective clients
  • Responsible for nurturing ongoing client relationships to ensure client satisfaction
  • Utilize CRM system to manage client accounts
  • Help strategically manage cost of sales and profit margins
  • Help oversee delivery of services and solutions to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Work effectively with internal and external key account teams
  • Establish and maintain contact with senior executives in key accounts
  • Help ensure outstanding accounts receivable is within acceptable parameters.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced Degree a plus
  • Minimum five years previous selling experience
  • Previous record of attaining and exceeding sales goals
  • Demonstrated success selling to new accounts as well as growing existing accounts
