Position Summary: The Production Coordinator position serves as management and coordination support for the onsite team of managers and technicians. The Production Coordinator position is responsible for managing the overall project task list, sending call sheets, daily reports, budget tracking and basic crew management. Essential Duties: Coordinate all logistics with the execution of a large holiday lighting experience Assist with onboarding of seasonal technicians Oversee project task list, making sure that milestones are hit and installation stays on pace Assist with purchasing and budget tracking Maintain and update SOPs for install, strike, maintenance, and storage processes Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises work of others, including planning, assigning and scheduling work, reviewing work and ensuring quality standards, training staff and overseeing their productivity. Minimum Qualifications: EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or GED Preferred: Vocational or technical training Field of Study: welding, engineering, rigging, carpentry, electronics, audio, construction, electrician. The knowledge needed for this position are often not found in traditional college educations.

Technical theatre education will be the closest thing, but so would any education in audio, lighting, electronics, rigging, welding, carpentry, design, 3D modeling software. Its a myriad of technical skills that makes this a helpful education EXPERIENCE: 1 to 3 years of experience in the technical entertainment field LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Valid drivers license required. OSHA and similar construction safety certification(s) helpful. Key Competencies: Solutions-based troubleshooting Friendly and proactive personality Ability to interface with clients, coworkers, and laborers to maintain a positive work environment Organizational skills in office and on-site Excellent verbal communication skills and customer service - communicates through various mediums such as email, text, phone call, and in-person conversations. Awareness of dangers and hazards associated with job functions and willingness to mitigate those risks Experience leading and managing a team Work Environment: While on-site, frequent exposure to unfavorable conditions such as all-weather, or working in cramped, very dirty, or unpleasant quarters.

Because of the time constraints of most of the departments projects, the Technical Director will often be on-site and need to work in hot/humid, cold/freezing, rain, and snow conditions to complete the job before the deadline. While in-office, there is a rare presence of abnormal variations in temperature and exposure to outside conditions. Physical Effort: Mild Physical effort represented by frequent handling of heavy objects (approx.. 25 lbs.) and materials. Hazards Frequent existing or potential hazards. Moderate existing or potential hazards.
