Your Role

The SR Sales Manager role is integral to our continued success and mission to remove the complexity from logistics. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop new business through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Perform discovery sales calls to uncover customer business needs, product offering, and logistics requirements.
  • Grow market share with existing customers by positioning RPM’s full suite of services and executing on customer strategy.
  • Strong customer focus, anticipating needs and collaborate internally to determine and implement the best solution for our customers.
  • Monitor customer business trends and take appropriate actions to optimize revenue.
  • Manage daily shipments in our transportation management system software ensuring on-time pick-up and delivery every time.
  • Supplement operational support by building orders, covering shipments, providing track & trace, billing, and collections.
  • Resolve customer issues by developing SOP/SLA to ensure we’re surpassing service expectations.
  • Interface with pricing, carrier department, and finance during onboarding of new business to ensure cross-departmental alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and pricing teams to provide a strategic response to customer RFI, RFP and RFQs.
  • Prepare presentations, provide cost comparisons, and present QBRs to customer stakeholders.
  • Capture sales related activities, including pipeline management, into company CRMDesired

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-10 yrs. of Logistics Experience
  • Customer Service/Support background
  • Consultative Sales Skillset
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Projects
  • Driven Team Player
