We are currently adding to our Central Station team where your primary responsibility will be to monitor and dispatch to proper authorities and contacting the appropriate responsible parties of life safety and access control monitored sites. Responsibilities for Customer Support Specialist:

  • Monitor digital software for signals and responds to alarms using the information provided on the screens

  • Place outgoing calls to verify alarm, dispatch proper authorities and notify responsible parties

  • Properly document alarm handling notes within the account logs

  • Complete alarm processing in accordance with standard operating procedures

  • Answer incoming calls to provide customer assistance and after-hour services

  • Filing Central Station documents

  • Documenting procedural, maintenance and service issues for reporting purposes

  • General housekeeping to keep the work environment and workstations clean and organized

  • Trouble shooting with customers and Technicians

  • Some light access control programming

  • Additional task given by supervisor or manager

Qualifications for the Customer Support Specialist:

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • United States citizen

  • Speak and understand the English language

  • Obtain and maintain a security clearance (after employed)

  • Customer service skills or experience working in a call center environment

  • Keyboard/typing skills

  • Basic knowledge of computer applications

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure

  • Strong problem solving skills and work ethic
