Job description

ROCO Winery seeks a tasting room associate to join our growing hospitality team. This position requires a consumer-centric, effective communicator who is well-organized and passionate about wine and wine education.  

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic. This individual must be a team player who possesses strong customer service skills and represents our brand in a positive and professional manner. This position is responsible for providing the best possible experience to all guests of the winery, by educating, entertaining, and connecting with the public on an authentic level. The ideal associate will be knowledgeable and passionate about wine and will have a strong background in hospitality and wine. The associate will be skilled at providing outstanding customer service to all our guests.


This is a part-time position that requires working weekends, some holidays, special events and occasional evenings as needed.
Starting at $16/hr + tips, depending on experience.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

·       Retail/hospitality experience required. 

·       Excellent customer service, communication, and sales skills.

·       Some higher education, equivalent related experience and/or training is a plus.

·       Wine knowledgeable.

·       WineDirect & Tock experience a plus.

·       Hands-on results driven individual promoting excellence for brand/company growth.

·       Scheduling flexibility to work weekends and ensure business staffing needs.

·       Detail oriented, ability to anticipate customer needs and respond appropriately.

·       Professional demeanor and appearance.

·       Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

·       Software proficiency: MS Office Suite, Outlook, CRM, and winery compliance.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
