RISE Memphis, Inc. (formerly RISE Foundation, Inc.), a local nonprofit organization with a mission to empower people to become self-sufficient by building and sustaining human and financial assets has an immediate opening for a part-time Administrative Assistant. Under the direct supervision of the President and CEO, the Administrative Assistant position provides administrative support to the management team. General responsibilities include typing reports, drafting correspondence, establishing and maintaining files, scheduling and preparing for board-related meetings, recording and transcribing meeting minutes, obtaining/maintaining office supplies, managing staff-related meetings, responding to routine telephone inquiries, sorting and distributing mail, managing accounts payables/receivables, assembles confidential and sensitive information, assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned. Must be able to relate to a diverse group of employees, board members, vendors and visitors. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. Must have in-depth experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to master other software applications. Must have daily access to an operable automobile with state-mandated insurance. A criminal background check is required.
