RFA Engineering ( is looking for growth oriented candidates that wants to join our team at our customer's facility in Horicon, WI (this is the actual location of the position). As a member of our team, the selected candidate will work with our engineering staff and our customer's staff to support the development of off-road mobile equipment. Our customer's facility is a world-class engineering and manufacturing center including full capability of machine design, simulation, prototyping manufacturing, and testing of entire vehicles.

  • Applying engineering rigor in development of embedded electronic hardware, software, and sensors for engine control applications.

  • Assisting product improvement teams regarding electrical system components.

  • Selecting, developing, and integrating components into vehicles.

  • Collaborating with internal and external resources to execute a validation plan for electrical components.

  • Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems.

  • Working with manufacturing, quality, and supply management teams.

  • Communicating with team members at a professional level.

  • Providing engineering support to vehicle and attachment teams.


  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related degree.

  • Electrical systems development experience.

  • Candidates must have excellent communication, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills

  • Demonstrates technical capability and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Travel: Minimal, less than 5%

    Desired Attributes

  • Familiarity with internal combustion engines operation and principles.

  • Knowledge of CAN Communications.

  • Experience in off-road mobile equipment.

  • Knowledge of systems engineering processes.

  • Product development experience.

  • Experience with Design for Six Sigma processes including FMEA.

  • Knowledge of wire harness development.
