Electrical Engineer

RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is seeking a growth-oriented entry-level to experienced candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Alachua, FL. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will work with our engineering staff to support the production of off-road vehicles and other exciting markets.
This is a full-time position with a full benefit package listed below, that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, direct hire by our customer, and additional opportunities within our own organization.
Electrical Engineer
Job Description
+ Support control systems continuous improvement design activities and initiatives.
+ Apply engineering rigor in harness, hardware, sensor, and display design and development
+ Assisting the client’s product improvement teams regarding electrical system components
+ Collaboration with internal and external resources to execute a validation plan for electrical components
+ Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems
+ Working with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply management teams
+ Providing engineering support to vehicle and attachment teams
Requirements
+ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree with equivalent experience.
+ Engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: electronic systems, software, electronic hardware, and controls applications.
+ Demonstrated effective communication skills and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience in giving presentations, explaining complex engineering issues and breaking them down into action items.
+ Must be a self-starter and able to work well without close direction, in the office, and in the field.
+ Candidates must have excellent communication, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills
+ High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Attributes
+ Experience in Off-Road Equipment
+ Experience managing/tracking multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
+ Knowledge of CAN Communications
+ Experience in roles that required a basic understanding of controller hardware.
+ Experience with software development helpful
+ Experience with sensors and sensing systems.
+ Experience with electronic manufacturing and electronics testing.
+ Root cause analysis experience.
