Role: Director Product Management & Marketing

We are seeking a Director Product Management & Marketing who can provide strategy and enhance our product offerings. In this role, you will have the responsibility of full-cycle product management for all verticals across the company. You will be the leader of all new product development and responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our overall product and services marketing strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Map out and implement a strategy that will drive the company toward the goal of a single technology platform for all solutions.
  • Develop integration and interface strategies for RFT and 3rd-party products, and for Integration interface to existing customer infrastructure and systems.
  • Develop and maintain a 3–4-year solutions roadmap for all vertical markets.
  • Work with our marketing team to ensure success of product placement.
  • Build and continually maintain a thorough knowledge of technology trends, opportunities for application, regulation, and competitive use of new technology.
  • Serve as an evangelist for our products through thought leadership and blogging, social media, and speaking.
  • Identify new business and product enhancement opportunities as a result of emerging technology.
  • Manage the company’s intellectual property and the technology capital investment portfolio.
  • Manage the existing product portfolio, including managing product obsolescence as needed
  • Develop strong working relationships with the entire senior leadership team.
  • Work closely with the CEO to gain a level of comfort and trust: continually operate in a collaborative way with him understanding his passion for technology and for the company.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Sales management to determine product requirements and project deliverables
  • Ensure product enhancements and new product development process is aligned with customer and industry needs.
  • Provide leadership and direction across all business units to promote adherence to specification management that supports speed to market while ensuring operational efficiency without sacrificing product quality.
  • Oversee company’s adherence to federal, state, and international requirements for new products.
  • Act as primary contact for all third-party evaluations and product listings.
  • Train and support our sales and customer support teams offering in-depth technical knowledge of our products.
  • Provide expert, systems level technical support for the integration of RFT solutions with network infrastructure, systems and solutions provided by others.

Basic Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, technical degree preferred and 10 years of product management, development and marketing.
  • Experience in product management with Wi-Fi and low voltage design.
  • Experience with determining product-market fit and delivering products to market.
  • Strong sense of ownership and track record of quality work.
  • Experience mentoring product management teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with RTLS solutions.
  • Experience in the acute care and/or senior living markets.
  • History of working with a privately held manufacturing company.
  • Knowledge of order-driven, lean manufacturing practices with assembly processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Possess exceptional energy, initiative, and work ethic.
