Senior Systems Engineer

Installation, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft, VMWare, storage solutions and related technologies.  Candidate must have knowledge in virtualization, disaster recovery solutions, SAN/NAS, and backup technologies. The position will require implementation of various SAN/NAS, VM  Server and backup solutions for Disaster recovery purposes. Demonstrated technical proficiency in VMware is required.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5+ years' experience delivering Microsoft infrastructure solutions in a professional services environment, not from an systems administration level.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Active Directory troubleshooting, Windows Server 2008/2012, and Messaging Architecture
• 5+ years with Active Directory Architecture and Mitigations
• Network Security Solutions
• Experience with complex AD/Exchange migrations 
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of networking protocol/services (TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, DFS) and network infrastructures
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot servers and applications in a complex enterprise environment
• Proven technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experienced in project delivery with regard to estimates, planning and deliverables 
• Presenting technical requirements based on business requirements
• Ability to work with and effectively communicate with other technical team members 
• Ability to meet commitments under tight timelines, while working on multiple projects
• Strong written communication skills to develop technical documentation 
• Must have strong VMWare skills
• Strong Xen App/Desktop skill set

Job Duties

• Migrate platforms to the latest Microsoft operating system 
• Fluent in Exchange architecture and implementation including high availability, clustering, and DAG replication 
• Provide technical engineering functions associated with Active Directory systems, applications, platforms and various databases technical integrations 

Demonstrated technical proficiency in the following 

• Server 2019/2016
• Exchange 2019/2016 and Office 365 Architecture 
• Exchange Migrations ( Exchange to Exchange, Hosted Exchange) 
• VMware, SRM, Replication
  
• Xen App/Desktop
• SAN Storage
