Job Description

 

  1. Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with client/patients.
  2. Route client/patient referrals to the appropriate department or individual(s) in the Company.
  3. Communicate client information necessary to schedule home medical equipment services.
  4. Determine correct resolution to client complaints; take corrective action, and monitor results.
  5. Prepare and secure Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs).
  6. Establish and maintain client records.
  7. Communicate with billing department to ensure proper billing to insurance companies, contracts, other third party payers and client/patients for all products and services delivered; maintain accurate billing records.
  8. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
  9. Participate in the Company's Performance Management program as requested by the Performance Management Coordinator.
  10. Participate in Company committees when requested.
  11. Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by CSR Manager.
