Through its network of more than 10,000 providers and 70 hospitals, Community serves over 260,000 Members with the following programs: Medicaid State of Texas Access Reform (STAR) program for low-income children and pregnant women, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for the children of low-income parents, which includes CHIP Perinatal benefits for unborn children of pregnant women who do not qualify for Medicaid STAR.
We are seeking 100 Member Service Representatives to assist members with Marketplace open enrollment

You will be responsible for providing support and rendering excellent customer service by addressing all member's calls related to health inquiries, questions and concerns in all areas including enrollment, claims, benefit interpretation and the status of authorizations for medical care. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines. The Member Service Representative will be primary taking incoming calls (Outbound calls include but not limited to introducing new plan benefits for existing Members) from the Marketplace Members and will provide eligibility and benefit information.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish & English/Vietnamese) is a huge plus
- Must have call center experience
- Managed Care/Health Insurance Call Center experience preferred but not required
- Medical Terminology a huge plus
- Multitasking ability
- Able to handle high call volumes
- Flexible to choose a shift between the following business hours during the Open Enrollment Period :
- 8 am to 8 pm Monday-Friday
- 8 am to 1 pm Saturdays)
- Microsoft office
Important: You must be able to complete the three week training with 100% mandatory attendance required through the training period.
