Position Summary


Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Sr. Recruiter develops, manages, and implements recruitment strategies designed to attract and retain a highly qualified, mission-driven workforce that promotes the company’s guiding principles. The Sr. Recruiter will supervise the recruitment team and monitor the team’s performance. 



Essential Functions


Manage recruiting efforts for hiring of all exempt and non-exempt personnel, and champion the full-cycle recruitment process for candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience


Work collaboratively with hiring managers to refine position descriptions and complete requisition requests to ensure a structured and successful recruitment order. 


Develop and maintain onboarding programs and manage the employee lifecycle once the new employee begins.


Review and update position descriptions, job titles, requisition questions, and other components related to the recruitment process on a continuous and ongoing basis. 


Create and drive the offer process including extending offers, negotiations, and closing offers. 


Establish recruiting requirements by evaluating and understanding organizational goals and objectives; meet with managers to discuss staffing needs and position requirements and qualifications.


Build applicant resources throughout the local community and healthcare industry; utilize and leverage a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, job fairs, college/university alumni, career colleges, career centers, internet, and social media, etc. 


Work closely with healthcare programs to develop an affiliation agreement authorizing clinical rotations and externships throughout all facilities. 


Promptly process applications and resumes received through ADP, Career Pages, etc. (HR goal: within 48 hours of receipt).


Develop a working knowledge of departments to quickly identify hiring needs at the department level. 


Evaluate applicant’s qualifications by screening/interviewing applicants with a consistent set of criteria, analyze responses, verify references; compare qualifications to job requirements.


Coordinate and arrange the schedule for hiring managers to interview candidates; attend interviews as an HR representative.


Maintain open communication and provide weekly recruitment updates to the management team regarding recruitment efforts and progress.


Establish, maintain, and improve recruitment techniques to attract qualified candidates.


Keep current on knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.


Assist in other HR projects as needed.

Education, Knowledge, Skills


Bachelor’s degree or certificate in a related field.


Ability to manage high volume recruitment and multiple projects/tasks.


Demonstrate initiative and flexibility.


Excellent communication.


Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Work and Outlook) and Applicant Tracking System/HRIS.




4+ years recruiting or staffing experience, healthcare experience preferred

This position operates in a professional office environment. The noise level is usually moderate.
