Edgerton Pharmacy is seeking a part-time Store Associate who will be key in providing an outstanding customer service experience to everyone who enters our pharmacy. A Wellness Advocate must be courteous, efficient, and able to engage in selling techniques with customers so that their needs and expectations are met or exceeded. This position is essential to the environment of health, wellness & beauty that the Edgerton Pharmacy represents.
As a part-time employee, you will be expected to work 15-25 hours a week. This position must be able to work between 8:45 am - 7:15 pm and Saturdays from 8:45 am-2:15 pm.
+ Delivers outstanding customer experience and drives sales by providing unmatched service. Through shifting, priorities and approaches will engage and meet customer demands delivering friendly and prompt service to minimize wait time.
+ Uses product knowledge, product information and available resources to educate customers and assist them in making product selections that are right for them.
+ Supports sampling regimen through customer engagement.
+ Participates in learning and development activities (store meetings and product/online education) in order to provide optimal customer service. Completes training activities within assigned timeline.
+ Maintains professional and courteous relationships with customers, co-workers and management fostering a positive work environment and embracing diversity.
+ Collaborates with the store team to understand, support and achieve established sales goals and objectives.
+ Performs regular maintenance; clean shelves, baskets, backrooms, and other assigned retail areas of the store according to company policy as directed by management.
+ Assists in unloading stock, stocking shelves, checking products against invoice, sorting and distributing stock, pricing merchandise, cleaning fixtures and displaying product.
+ Aids in the implementation of merchandising and operational procedures. Perform category maintenance by rotating products according to the company?s product rotation policy. Identify damaged and expired product. Execute and ensure the product is set as required.
+ Operates the cash register and execute customer transactions efficiently. Fully understand register functions, and balance the cash register at the end of each shift or as scheduled.
+ Follows management direction in completing other duties as required.
+ Must be able to work some days, evenings and weekends.
+ High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
+ Additional experience/knowledge in the areas of health/supplements, beauty and wellness is preferred, but not required.
