Software Engineer II - SQL/Java/Analytics

Alpharetta, GA -Minneapolis, MN - St. Cloud, MN

We are looking for candidates who are analytical, smart, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to follow through logic and instructions with an interest in building unique solutions with the use of LexisNexis HPCC (High Performance Computing Cluster) Big Data technology. The Software Engineer-II position that we have in our mind is a dream job for anyone interested in HPCC, graph analytics, data science, and the modeling industry. You will be embedded in a high performing team alongside Architects, and Sr. level employees and will be responsible for assisting KEL Masters and Vault Data Population organizations.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

1. Development of ETL program and processes using ECL (Enterprise Control Language)

2. Development of KEL (Knowledge Engineering Language) code and assist with the ideation of Entity Models

3. Development of Integration Interfaces for KEL in either ECL or Java

4. Creation and maintenance of Java based toolsets

5. Create various data perspectives for Attribute and Modeling Development

6. Unit testing

7. Workflow configuration of visual analytics

8. Necessary documentation


Skills Needed

1. Unit-testing and interest in automation strategies is preferred

2. Java experience is preferred

3. BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required

4. Previous experience with SQL

5. Analytics experience
