Physician/Internal Medicine/Family Practice - Tucson, AZ
Our client is the oldest community health center, providing continuous healthcare for over six decades. They are a network 16 Health Centers, serving over 50,000 patients.
The Physician will provide clinical leadership and oversight to the professional support staff and providing health care services to patients.
Education and Experience:
Board Certification/Recertification (preferably) or Board Eligible in Specialty, Internal Medicine, Family Practice.
Completion and maintenance of annual CME requirements for licensure (CME should be relevant to provider scope of medicine).
M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
Licensed to practice medicine in the state.
2-5 years' experience in Medical Practice preferred.
Experience in a group medicine practice setting is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrates abilities to work with others effectively, to exercise good judgment in appraising situations and making decisions to deal tactfully and effectively with the public.
Possesses a reasonable level of knowledge of community and public health systems and issues.
Proficient in diagnostic procedures and treatment of illness and injuries in the CHC model setting.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of pharmacology, nutrition and mental health.
Able to become or already credentialed with all health care plans accepted by the Health Center.
