Behavioral Technician

RCM of Washington is in search of staff to provide in-home support in a family atmosphere for a nonverbal, male in his 20's with autism and challenging behaviors. Behavioral management, communication, independent living, and social skills training are all key components to this position. Additionally, a large part of the day involves being at the Ivymount School and community activities such as hikes, movies, bowling, and reading at local libraries. We offer full-time positions with availability to work nights and weekends. We also offer part-time positions.

Responsibilities

  • Implement ISP goals and protocols
  • Follow a behavior support plan
  • Document on daily activities, goals and progress
  • Follow seizure protocol
  • Administer medication
  • Provide instructions using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Effectively manage crisis situations, which may include physical aggression
  • Deliver consistent, punctual, reliable service
  • Participate in training as required
