Senior Financial Analyst

A Healthcare client based in Temecula, CA has a Direct-Hire opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst.

This is an onsite position with the following responsibilities:

• Develop a focused, consistent analytical approach for understanding and auditing revenue and cost results across an integrated delivery network, which includes the development of financial models.
• Collecting, interpreting, analyzing statistical data to prepare comprehensive reports.
• Perform research and analyses in budgeting, financial trends, and produce forecast information as directed.
• Participate with Month-end review processes.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as directed.
• Coordinate with regional facilities on reporting & various projects.
• Prepare budget variance analyses on general budget issues.

Experience/Training/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited College or University in related field required.
• Master's degree from accredited College or University in related field preferred.
• Five (5) years of experience in healthcare accounting/finance across an Integrated Delivery Network (Acute, Post-Acute, Ambulatory, and/or Health Plans) strongly preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:

• CPA or FHFMA a plus.

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge and ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 standards and guidelines.
• Demonstrate compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Set priorities and organize workload and complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff and interact well with public.
• Knowledge of PC and applications.
• Knowledge of EPSi cost accounting system for all types of analysis - preferred.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft products, such as Excel and Word.
