The junior graphic designer will take on RAINN's approach and mission to create innovative designs and execute multiple materials for print and digital collateral. The junior designer will work under the guidance and supervision of the in-house senior graphic designer n the visual identity and communication efforts of RAINN's brand through its website, social networking sites and promotional materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Support all designs of print materials including, but not limited to, brochures, posters, invitations, inserts and cards.
+ Design of web material such as animated banners, infographics, graphics for social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest) and graphics for RAINN's website.
+ Execute day-to-day design requests such as photo edits/resizes, graphic edits (business cards, one-pagers, templates).
+ Edit graphics as needed. Utilize existing designs and grand guidelines to influence design creation.
+ Layout design and images for newsletters and emails.
+ Ensure RAINN's brand and message remain consistent across all channels.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Position Specifications and Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
+ Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite design (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Flash, Dreamweaver).
+ Strong knowledge in design fundamentals and principles.
+ Ability to work in both large team setting and independently.
+ Possess strong skills in image and photo manipulation.
+ Creative thinker and problem solver.
+ Energetic and creative; possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate initiative.
