Growing Global company with over 37 facilities across the globe. Continues to grow with additional investment to address the new and emerging technologies of the Electrical Vehicle industry.
Job Description:
Manage reel to reel electroplating department, which includes Gold, Palladium, Silver and Tin plating.
Knowledge of plating chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques,
and disposal methods.
Proficient with SPC, PPAP, Control Plans and PFEMA processes of plating.
Ensure Plating quality issues are addressed in a timely manner
Drive process continuous improvement and cost reduction plans.
Ensure safety and security of precious metals in the processes.
To plan and design training needs analysis to assure the competency of employees to perform work
Drive Environment Health & Safety requirement are met in production area and a strong customer focus.
Plan employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures or assign employee training to experienced
Drive production quality improvement related to plating and ensure actions are taken accordingly
To support company’s Quality & Environment Management system in accordance with ISO9001/ISO14001 & IATF16949 standards
Requires a willingness to lead, take charge, and offer direction.
Candidate with Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of reel-to-reel plating supervisory & leadership experience in electro-plating industry.
Experience in commissioning of reel-to-reel plating lines and facilities will be an added advantage
Experience in commissioning of reel-to-reel plating lines and facilities will be an added advantage
Gold, Palladium, Nickle, Silver reel to reel plating experience.
Ability to manage precious metals, safety, security and cost reduction.
Strong record of continuous improvement success, including demonstrated experience using Kaizen, 5S, visual management and process linking methodologies.
Lean Manufacturing experience is desired.
Knowledge of process improvement techniques
Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, retain and develop a process team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be self directed, well organized and good follow-up skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
