Outside Sales Associate

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within your assigned sales territory
    • Seek new business opportunities and contact potential clients through cold calls
    • Travel within your territory to conduct face-to-face meetings and product demos with existing and potential customers
    • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products
    • Strategically negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales
    • Meet or exceed sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers
    • Maintain an accurate record of all leads and customer account information in PipeDrive (CRM)
    • Potential Opportunity to meet installation crews on job sites, gathering photographs and testimonials for the marketing team
  • Attend between 3-6 industry trade shows per year to accumulate new leads
  • Attend weekly Sales & Marketing Meetings
  • Attend daily All Staff Scrum for all remote employees to come together
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager on potential customers, new deals, etc
  • Research competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence in territory

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • A cell phone (preferably a smartphone)
  • A customer-centric, friendly, and self – motivated attitude
  • Able to work with littler supervision
  • Must be willing to travel overnight
  • Highly ambitious individual with an honest worth ethic & hunter mentality
  • Adaptable to change quickly and loves to be challenged
  • If you're hungry to grow sales in your territory, then you will see the rewards quickly
  • Strong communication skills both written and orally, with customers and colleagues
  • Microsoft (Outlook, Excel...) skills will help you organize your time and communications
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
