Job Responsibilities: Manage regulatory matters and compliance issues Maintain a professional and well-governed environment and achieving compliance with regulations by developing and maintaining policies and procedures supporting a culture of integrity, compliance and excellence Promote awareness and a culture of responsibility through training and regular communication with both internal staff and clients Conduct risk assessments to identify regulatory, operational and reputational risk across the Company s activities Lead the Companys compliance team by developing, implementing, maintaining and overseeing a compliance monitoring program to confirm our operations team is complying with regulatory requirements and adhering to Company risk management and compliance related policies as it relates to medical billing Respond to incidents of suspected compliance violations by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures Correspond with outside... regulatory agencies and counsel as needed Serve as a resource for compliance questions and working collaboratively with other internal functions and with clients Lead the Company s operational audit teamEducation & Experience: Minimum of Bachelor s Degree; Master s Degree preferred. Ten (10) or more years of related experience at a professional level achieving a senior compliance role in the medical insurance or healthcare industries Certification in health care compliance from Health Care Compliance Association preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong ability to multitask and remain calm in emergencies Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times Strong knowledge of laws and regulations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and other HR related systems Ability to work independently and in a team environmentEOE Statement:We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
