  • $500.00 sign-on bonus after successfully passing New Hire Review

    • An IRA Specialist’s overall pay can often be comprised of 25% or more from bonuses.

Roles & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

As a Sales Representative/JR IRA Specialist, the ideal candidate will work to establish new client accounts and provide 1-on-1 consultations. The Sales Representative will be required to travel to all local and non-local events hosted by Quest Trust Company when needed, speak at the events they attend, and be able to host internal Q-15 videos. Speaking at these events will demonstrate the knowledge of the Sales Representative, but also help represent Quest as a company. In addition, the Sales Representative will act as a liaison between the Sales/Marketing department and other departments as needed, ensure they are providing accurate information to clients/customers, and maintain new and existing client accounts.


  • Establish professional relationships with clients and maintain client relationships
  • Conduct phone, Zoom, and in-person consultations with new and existing clients to explain the benefits of self-direction
  • Explore clients’ personal situation, and ultimately open accounts and facilitate the movement of existing accounts to QTC
  • Maintain broad understanding of retirement accounts
  • Maintain understanding of investing in private assets, including staying up to date on new and proposed legislation, changes in rules and more
  • Data entry of leads in company databases and internal spreadsheets including Salesforce, Monday.com, and maintain documentation of client conversations
  • Attend educational workshops, conferences, various other promotional events and departmental meetings and trainings both local and non-local
  • Complete special assignments or projects as assigned by manager
  • Communicate clear goals and establish timelines with upper management
  • Be a liaison between clients and other departments
  • Performs other job-related duties as required


Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma is required 
  • College Degree is preferred 
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of directly job-related experience recommended


Skills & Qualifications

  • Time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Previous Sales/IRA experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel to local and non-local events
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Background in finance preferred
  • CISP certification preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
