Industrial Engineer/ Purchase Parts

Title: Purchase Parts Planner
Good to have experience working with suppliers on Manufacturing. 
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understanding the requirements of the project and coordinating effectively with Global team
• Identify and address deviations/issues in project in consultation with Manager
• Effectively interpreting various applicable international codes and standards along with customer internal standards
• Applying knowledge of these standards for detail design of compressor components
• Preparing detailed Models and Drawings 
• Managing engineering Bill of Materials using SAP
• Performing detail self-review and peer review, Participating and leading design reviews
• Providing technical support to colleagues
• Ensure quality and timely deliveries of engineering documentation
• Performing troubleshooting, analyzing failures, prepare root cause analysis and implement actions
• Taking initiatives for improving personal and process efficiency
• Plan schedule and required suppliers for buy components
• Issue PO’s to all suppliers required in completing buy components
• Track purchase orders to ensure on time delivery

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial engineering
• Experience in creating detailed manufacturing drawing using GD&T as per ISO
• Excellent team player to support and serve the global team
• Ability to work independently with clarity on scope and responsibility
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• High flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities
• Proactive and Solution Oriented. Ability to Pull inputs and interact with interface partners.
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel required
• Working Knowledge of SAP
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Knowledge on turbo machineries and their components will be added advantage
