Barista at Queens Eleven

Queens Eleven is looking for a barista who is committed to serving a high-quality product in an unpretentious setting. The ideal barista will provide an exceptional guest experience that respects our customers, community and product. 

The Job:

• Greet and serve all guests with respect and compassion
• Expedite, make, and serve drinks and food in a timely fashion
• “Dial In” espresso, filter coffee and other ingredients and recipes to ensure a quality guest experience
• Maintain a constant desire to learn and develop coffee skills through tasting new coffee, tea, and recipe variations
• Support your team by maintaining a clean work environment and maintaining a beautiful and welcoming storefront
• Run an efficient and clean espresso bar in a high-volume environment while maintaining recipe consistency

The Ideal Candidate:

• Is passionate about coffee. 
• Is friendly, compassionate and dedicated to the guest experience. 
• Will have at a minimum 1 year of high-volume craft coffee experience as a barista. 
• Will have cash handling and health code experience. 
• Is dependable and consistent. 
• Is detail oriented. 
• Is available to work a variable schedule including early mornings, weekends and some holidays. 
• Is available to work 18-22 hours/week with ability to pick up more shifts throughout the week.
• Is eligible to work in the United States. 

Compensation:

• $16 per hour plus tips
• Tips

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $15.00 - $16.35/hour.
