o Strive for considerate and excellence in customer service
o Maintain cleanliness and functionality in exterior and interior public areas
o Perform duties with minimal disruption to customers and daily building operations
o Support other staff members by participating in laundry functions
o Clean rooms and public spaces daily and consistently as directed by the Property Manager
o Responsible for cleaning vacant rooms completely and consistently
o Able to cross train to perform front desk operations in the event of staff shortage
o Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
o Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
o Two or more years of experience in hotel or related cleaning experience
o A high school diploma or equivalent
o Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external contacts
o Ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills
o Ability to pass a drug/criminal and/or credit background check
o Ability to maintain a work pace required to average 6.5 rooms a day cleaned
Physical demands and work conditions: The employee must operate hand and power tools and equipment. Normal activity can be strenuous and may involve prolonged standing, walking, crouching, reaching, bending, stooping and laying prone. The employee must occasionally push pull and/or lift objects over 25 pounds. The employee works indoors and outdoors and is exposed to weather extremes. The employee may occasionally be subject to dangerous chemicals, skin irritants. The employee may be required to use goggles, gloves and other safety equipment.
