The ideal candidate will be located in the Rocky Mountains/Great Plains Region. This position requires 50% travel. Position Summary: A fast paced, dynamic, high growth and entrepreneurial role that is responsible for building upon existing access opportunities, bringing new customers into the QuVa Pharma network, and protect and grow business of the current customer base. This role owns the customer relationship at the hospital account level and is focused on retaining the base business while driving incremental sales. Accelerate the base business by tracking customer needs, utilization data, and relevant internal pharmacy operations. Identify innovative solutions to meet account needs. Operational account management including detailed account planning and sales forecasting. Responsibilities may include : Maintains and grows the business base within assigned accounts and achieves the assigned sales objective for the territory. Manages the territory in an efficient and orderly manner through effective business planning and implementation, ascribing to principles of key account prioritization/physicians, and to include customer data input into field force CRM. Coordinates appropriately and effectively with office-based representatives, especially Customer Service, as well as field teams including GPO and National Accounts team Execute sales and retention strategies and plans; track activities; report on activities and issues; successfully close new business in accordance with predetermined targets. Prepare and present sales reports, identifying trends, additional business opportunities, and obstacles to new business growth. Maintain a strong, positive relationship with accounts at all relevant levels inside the hospital and pharmacy operations. Understand how each account maintains and utilizes medication which drive use; understanding the process of bid or buy within each hospital; how to drive peer to peer influence, etc. Support the alignment of the market strategy with overall strategy to ensure commercial success. Position QuVa communications and promotions to meet customer needs; delivering individual and group selling presentations. Effectively communicate QuVa service offerings. Conduct business consistent with the QuVa Code of Business Conduct. Develop and maintain plans for accounts and overall territory. Receive and effectively apply constructive coaching and feedback. Attendance at Trade/Industry shows and symposiums. Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned. Qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the job posting country A bachelor’s degree 3 or more years of demonstrated ability to sell healthcare products and/or services into the hospital marketplace; direct interaction with hospital pharmacy; hospital decision-making and purchasing processes. Hospital IV Solution and/or injectable sales experience a plus. Competencies / Skills: Sense of urgency, accountability and resourcefulness (e.g., work in changing environment) Self-starter, independent learner Proven experience providing excellent customer service and problem resolution of complex complaints and inquiries. Superior account management and a proven track record of sales success. Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically. Demonstrated skills in achieving sales, profitability, and budget goals. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with other departments within the organization and with people at all levels of the organization. Understands how various issues affect each other and the outcome of projects; Improves upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform. Effectively and productively engages with others and establishes trust, credibility, and confidence with others (e.g., works well across multi-functional account team). Listens to customers, ensures commitments are met, sets appropriate customer expectations. Efficiency with MS Office suite. Work Environment: Ability to sit and/or stand 8 hours or more per day if needed. Ability to manipulate necessary office equipment, computer software, hardware & equipment. Ability to perform the following physical activities: stooping, reaching, standing, grasping, walking, feeling, talking and hearing.
