NURSE MANAGER ROLE
The Nurse Manager is expected to be involved in all of the day-to-day administrative tasks required to keep the office running smoothly, ordering supplies, pharmaceutical quality assurance, developing clinic workflow, clinic appearance, participation in health fairs/ pop-ups and overseeing Admin Assistants/Medical Assistants. Opportunities for leading clinical education for medical assistants and seasonal interns and to assist in spearheading our mobile wellness extension. The Nurse Manager also will be responsible for serving in a clinical RN role from 1p-8p Wednesday-Friday and Saturdays 9-5pm. The Nurse Manager works in collaboration with other healthcare team members including Medical Directors, Medical Assistants, Business Development Manager, Medical Interns, and Administrative Assistants. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results driven, exemplifies strong leadership qualities, passionate, energetic, cheerful, resourceful, able to work independently and collaboratively and utilizes great problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate is interested in being a part of a movement and must be interested in professional growth and development.
Ensure the smooth and successful operation of the daily business of the soothing and calm practice while leading and encouraging team members to conduct themselves in a manner that aligns with the mission, vision, and values of Quench Wellness. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Mastery of peripheral IV placement/phlebotomy, pharmaceutical mixing and administrating vitamin infusions/injections per Quench Wellness™ protocols
Order and maintain records for pharmaceutic and medical supply inventory and quality assurance
Maintain clinic appearance
Develop and improve clinic workflow
Identify and maintain potential expansion opportunities & partnerships
Manage client & public relations
Participation in health fairs/pop-ups
Participate in the communication of marketing campaigns, rewards programs, and promotions
Educate and empower clients regarding integrative practices and improve client access to services
Lead educational sessions for medical assistants and medical interns promotions
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
Current and active RN Licensure in good standing
Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as required by department and facility
Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to navigate an EMR
Knowledge of medical insurance, billing, coding, and billing oversight NOT NEEDED
Illinois Controlled Substances License (ILCS) NOT NEEDED
Minimum of 1-year experience in the RN role preferred but not mandatory if strong leadership skills and phlebotomy abilities.
Strong computer software skills including iOS devices, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software
Experience using and navigating EMR systems
Basic experience of Quickbooks or motivation to learn
Strong organization skills
Strong leadership qualities
A basic ability to navigate social media streams including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked-In and Pinterest
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tiered skill set acquisition compensation **(based on phlebotomy mastery, ability to acquire procedural skills sets taught at the clinic). $30/hr, may be negotiable based on experience, skills, etc...
