QED Enterprises, Inc. is looking for Information TechnologyLab Managers, Level IIIwithactive DoD Top Secret/SCI-level Security Clearance for a TDY position in Idaho Falls, ID.Provide network documentation for changes in network topography or policies; provision and provide support for virtual machines operating within the network; perform network maintenance tasks such as patching and cabling; assist in asset management tasks such as issuing equipment utilizing an asset management system or database; re-image and rapid refresh deployed hardware; support users in accessing and using the IT lab, and respond to user's inquiries in a timely manner; and conduct capacity and performance analysis and make system configuration and upgrade recommendations.Other duties include:Employ security concepts, theories, tools and methodologies to mitigate system weaknesses and vulnerabilities;Apply advanced analytical skills and technical resources at the tactical level and implement infrastructure solutions supporting command-level decision making and execution of mission requirements;Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in a lab environment;Provision and provide support for VPN or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g. Citrix) to users;Perform large scale configuration management and deployment across Windows, MacOS, Linux/Unix, and other operating systems and virtual environments;Implement granular access controlMonitor systems for acceptable performance and user accessibility, establish system back-ups, and monitor systems securityCreate and maintain monitoring reports and logsTrack and document forensic analysis from initial involvement through final resolutionCollect, process, preserve, analyze, and present computer related evidenceCoordinate with others within the government and with customer personnel to validate/investigate alerts or other preliminary findingsConduct analysis of forensic images and other available evidence and draft forensic write-ups for inclusion in reports and other written productsAssist with documenting and publishing Computer Network Defense guidance and report on incident findings to appropriate constituenciesAssist with leading and coordinating forensic teams in preliminary investigationPlan, coordinate and direct the inventory, examination and comprehensive technical analysis of computer related evidenceDistill analytic findings into executive summaries and in-depth technical reportsServe as technical forensics liaison to stakeholders and explain investigation details to include forensic methodologies and protocolsTrack and document on-site incident response activities and provide updates to leadership throughout the engagementEvaluate, extract and analyze suspected malicious codeCore Competencies require knowledge of:Computer Network Defense (CND) policies, procedures, and regulationsDefense-in-depth principles and network security architectureDatabase management and implementationAsset management principles and practicesHardware and software provisioningBoundary protection and enclavingAuthentication and access management technologiesEducation and Background Requirements:7-9 years lab management or systems administration experience with a High school diploma;Or a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, and with 5-7 years of lab management or systems administration experienceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.
