Sales Support Assistant 

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Sales Executive

Status: Full-Time Employee-Exempt

 Job Summary

The Sales Support Assistant responsibilities include assisting customers with sales orders, answering questions about the product or concerns the customer may have regarding their order.  Assisting the Sales team with functions such as preparing presentations, scheduling and following up on sales prospects and scheduling travel.  The Sales Support Assistant is responsible for taking payments from the customer, sales document tracking and assists the Account Manager to assure that the product meets the customers satisfaction. The Sales Support Assistant will lead presentations with potential customers scheduled by the SDR.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

·      Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

·      Recommending products or merchandise to help customers

·      Conduct/lead virtual/online sales presentations with potential clients

·      Follow up on potential leads and help bring them to closure

·      Answer questions and address concerns of the customers

·      Inform customers about sales, promotions, and policies

·      Take payments from the customers

·      Order Sales team office supplies and book business travel

·      Track sales orders and complete sales reports as needed

·      Maintains customer databases by inputting customer profiles and updates, preparing and distributing monthly reports

·      Assists the Sales Representative and Sales Executive with preparing and delivering sales presentations

Qualifications/Requirements

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Economics, or a closely related field is highly preferred.

·      At least 3 years of sales employment experience for a high-tech company, preferably in the identity theft industry.
