Job Description

 COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Funky Chicken LLC owns and operates 15 Popeyes restaurants in the Atlanta area.  We opened our first restaurant in 2018 and have an aggressive schedule to open 15 more restaurants in the next 12-18 months.

JOB SUMMARY
The New Store Opening Training Manager will be a Brand ambassador and must demonstrate and uphold the Popeyes culture at all times. The Training Manager will be responsible for training managers and team members in their respective roles so they can provide every guest, on every visit, a superb experience that creates a lasting memory. This person will learn all Brand standards, follow them and inspire others to do the same. The Training Department seeks to continuously improve its methods and materials and feedback from the Corporate Trainer will be essential in achieving this goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively partner with operations team for preparations for NSO.
  • Effectively train, schedule, and oversee Restaurant General Manager & Supervisors.
  • Ensure proper scheduling of self for travel arrangements, meeting the needs of the business.
  • Facilitate training for team members and managers
  • Conduct team member training for restaurant openings
  • Establish open lines of communication with team members and managers and be able to provide performance feedback on training participants
  • Continually improve training methods, materials and delivery

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years retail management experience in a high volume/fast paced retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to spend most of the day on your feet.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability and drive to thrive in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Previous QSR Training experience a plus
