Objective of the Position: This position provides monthly financial reports to management as an underlying basis for business decisions at the site assigned. It comprises budget compilation for strategic derivation. This role analyzes procedures and processes in order to ensure that they are in line with group policies.

Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
- Ad-hoc analysis-special requests from management.
- All policy and procedures especially for SAP are discussed with German parent and implemented in accordance to group policy.
- Budgeting including collecting sales data from sales department, derive cost of material out of SAP via Bill of Materials for site assigned
- Directed by reconciliation/pass through analysis.
- Gather all overhead costs and develop machine rates for machine cost centers with SAP.
- Implementation of SPA processes.
- Incorporate investment budget and calculate depreciation, run all SAP routines to derive final budget (P &L Statement).
- Main SAP Link to German IT Group, diverse problem resolutions, discussions regarding new procedures/processes in SAP.
- Manage EDI process with customers, set up new SAP users, and maintain user authorizations.
- Monthly reporting including validation of total sales, run all necessary SAP routines to derive reporting, actual to budget deviation analysis.
- Run unlimited retro-pricing in system.
- SAP training for management and other users.
- Sell precious metals from recycling process on spot market.
- Signing authority for all bank accounts-solely up to $10,000-collectively for amounts exceeding that limit.
Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
- Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
- Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirement Profile:
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum five years' experience in plant controlling position for an automotive supplier.
- Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in SAP accounting modules.
Technical Expertise:
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, and write correspondence.
- Analytical- Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures
- Business Acumen- Understands business implications of decisions.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement of products for manufacturability.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations and GAAP
- Project Management- Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities.
