PurePower Technologies is an independent supplier of diesel fuel injection systems to OEMs and the aftermarket. We don’t just assemble parts. Position Overview:

Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts, process invoices in SAP and run payments to vendors

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

Match vendor invoices against purchase orders, goods receipts and enter invoices into SAP in a timely manner. Verify sales tax on invoices

Investigate invoice discrepancies, aged goods receipts which are not matched with invoices by working with suppliers, purchasing group, logistics group, and provide timely resolutions

Obtain and ensure invoices have all proper authorization before they are processed and paid

Responsible for SAP invoice payment runs. Investigate payment issues with vendors on outstanding payment, returned payments, etc..

Work with vendors to collect debit balance in vendors accounts

Responsible for making unprocessed invoices accrual journal entry at month end closing

Find opportunities for process improvement in accounts payable process

Provide backup support for miscellaneous invoicing activities

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

High School Diploma or equivalent required, prefer degree in accounting

At least 4 year of Accounting experience, AP/AR

ERP experience, preferable in SAP
