Job Description
Our client, a $Multi-Billion Global Company and Industry Leader with over 70,000 employees worldwide, has asked us to fill a highly visible Strategic Labor Relations Manager position, to be earmarked for succession planning and promotion to a Sr. Manager position within 24 -36 months. The ideal candidate must have “thick skin” and significant understanding of a union facility, support the leadership team and responsible to deliver high-quality labor relations strategies. Company paid relocation available. A Successful Leadership Background: • BA/BS Degree, JD a plus SHRM or similar professional memberships / certifications an asset • HR Generalist, Employee Relations / Labor Relations experience driving change in a union environment • Experience administering grievances, interpreting collective agreements with exposure to arbitrations and negotiations and applying disciplinary actions • Knowledge and experience working in HPWS, Lean Six Sigma or Total Productive Maintenance work systems would be considered an asset • Kronos / Workday experience would be considered an asset • Labor Capability building for our leaders and Workforce planning, a plus Please let me know who you can recommend for this exciting opportunity.
