Sr. Product Manager of IoT & Connected Devices

Pura, based in Pleasant Grove, UT, has been revolutionizing the fragrance and IOT (internet of things) connected experience in homes (and soon car) for the past several years. We obsess over providing world-class product experiences for our customers, partners, and vendors. Our teams build and maintain fragrances, smart devices, mobile apps, data, and backend services that power all of the connected experience platforms for Pura customers- internal and external. We are currently hiring for a Sr. Product Manager role for an IoT Product Experience Team (PXT) that focuses on creating value for our many different customer types and our brand and retail partners. We are looking for results-oriented product practitioners from various backgrounds to join us to help evolve our experiences, contributing to raising the bar on our best in class team.

What you'll own:

• Setting the outcomes with your team based on the company and customer problems and priorities.
• Continually discovering customer needs and balancing those with Pura business and technology goals.
• Collaboratively, iteratively, and cost-effectively prototyping and testing proposed opportunities and solutions to minimize risk and change cost while continuing to learn and deliver with speed.
• Setting a vision of what customers desire and need to feel empowered and enabled to have worthwhile experiences in their environment.
• Frequent communicating roadmaps, plans, goals, progress, impact, risks, and problems to internal and where applicable, external stakeholders.
• Support and track all product launch go to market activities including physical packaging, pricing and bundling.
• Working with various device manufacturers/service providers and/or Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) for Hardware and Software integrations.

Experience you'll need:

• A sound understanding and application of human-centered design, continuous discovery and delivery, user research methods, and data gathering, synthesizing, and sharing.
• 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, responsible for managing product releases.
• A data-based approach to understanding performance and testing new features
• Solid communication skills. Demonstrated ability to speak on a technical level and communicate clearly with engineers, customer service, marketing, manufacturing, designers, and more.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional teams with a solid sense of accountability
• Demonstrated experience in working with complex technologies and defining requirements for internal and external services translating to shippable IOT Hardware and Software experiences.
• Solid interest in learning, and I'm improving how we deliver connected experiences through various products and interfaces.
• Experience working with hardware and software engineering teams.
• Experience in IoT connected devices, industrial design, and supply chain management.
