Sr. Marketing Programs Manager

Hi, I'm Megan Ross Farrell, the senior director of marketing planning and operations. My team includes team operations and planning, project management, program management, and our email, paid digital, and webinar programs.

I'm looking for a passionate, likes-to-nerd-out-on-all-things-marketing, well-rounded Marketing Programs Manager to own and manage our paid digital program and webinar program as well as support our email marketing program - all done with an eye toward account-based strategies and tactics.

This is a central subject matter expert role. You will work with our integrated program manager, field marketing managers, event manager, and others on the team to guide them through the best tactics for paid digital, webinars, and emails. While you'll focus on paid digital, webinars, and emails, I'm looking for a well-rounded marketer interested in all facets of marketing.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with cross-functional teams to take a data-driven approach to design, launch, and optimize marketing programs (with a focus on paid digital, webinars, and email) to generate leads and create pipeline.
  • Manage the implementation and setup of all paid media efforts - including landing pages, forms, and emails.
  • A/B test and continually optimize key conversion points in the marketing funnel
  • Partner cross-functionally to increase the velocity of the sales funnel; optimize each stage of the buyer journey to increase conversion rates and accelerate deals.
  • Leverage analytics to assess channel and campaign performance and understand how our marketing programs generate leads, opportunities, and revenue. (attribution)
  • Collaborate with content marketing to create campaign promotion content, such as copywriting for landing pages, email promotions, banner ads, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as marketing programs manager
  • 5+ years running paid digital
  • 3+ years experience with an account-based marketing strategy and running account-based marketing activities.
  • Recent, hands-on experience (2-3 years) running the following:
    • Webinar programs
    • Email marketing programs, Marketo, certification preferred
  • 2-3 years experience with Salesforce.com, specifically campaign management as it relates to paid digital campaigns
  • 2-3 years of experience using a project management tool such as Jira, Basecamp, Asana, etc.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise software go-to-market practices.
  • Proficiency with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and internet-based tools is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience with vendor / agency management.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with intranets and organizing internal documentation.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience partnering and engaging with stakeholders to optimize project execution.
  • Thorough understanding of B2B integrated marketing.

Essential Functions

  • Understands how to effectively manage risk by identifying conflicting priorities and determining remedial action for a win-win outcome.
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere and collaborate effectively with other employees in a variety of roles, locations, and levels.
  • Experience working cross-organizationally with all stages of a business, e.g. new product introduction, product releases, product announcements, etc.
  • Requires contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, virtual meetings, VOIP or otherwise) and working and interacting in a group or team.
  • Requires logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • This role requires independent judgment for decision-making on matters that may or may not have a defined process (or a process you create).

Preferred but not required

  • BA or BS degree
