Publicis Health Media (PHM) is the strategic media planning and buying agency within Publicis Health, and the only global media agency solely dedicated to the health and wellness space. Our mission is to define moments along the health journey, and equip people with the tools and communications they need to make healthy decisions.
PHM's core is made up of franchise and enterprise AOR relationships with some of the largest clients in the world. We also partner with Publicis Health and Groupe creative agencies to support large client brand assignments in health and wellness. Connections Planning
The VP exercises broad-based organizational leadership by being a cross-functional leader. The VP
provides direction, management and leadership to media team. This role owns media strategy and
execution of key accounts. The VP serves as a conduit between PHM senior management and
clients/company personnel. Maintains strong client relations. The VP is focused on building overall people
and organizational capabilities to ensure the company achieves its business strategy. Part of core account team.
Channel and audience agnostic by virtue of having expertise in several areas & being deeply
knowledgeable about breadth of marketing options (behind media). Approaches brand from holistic media perspective
Recognized expert in media disciplines (e.g., research, buying, planning, etc.) with the ability to
deliver significant insight to the client's business
Understands the total marketing process and the strategic role of media
Recognized industry expert outside of the company
Grasp of PHM and client business functions and processes
Strong knowledge of research and tools capabilities
Ability to predict industry trends
Internal: Operations, Tactics and Strategy
Strategy: Has vision for the brand and is the leader creating brand planning based on that vision.
Ensures that strategies align with objectives and objectives of projects are met. Contributes to
agency level strategic initiatives. Oversees team in developing clients' media strategy and analyses (online and offline). Translates brand marketing objectives into succinct digital media strategies.
Collaborates with other PHCG agency teams to ensure strategic alignment of client's needs
Financials: Oversight of program budgets, including staffing and resource requirements. Influences management of department resources. Responsible for major negotiations at the higher dollar values or accountable performance agreements.
Execution and Process: comprehensive media management of key accounts: industry/category knowledge; media planning, negotiations; implementation; performance tracking and analysis
Coordination: Uber-coordination (and integration) among all capabilities/ agencies.
