SQL Business Analyst

Summary:

Our award winning client is currently hiring for a SQL Business Analyst. This position is responsible for ERP and business application support along with developing and testing

business systems applications. The department is focused on reliability, documentation, and continuous improvement. Candidates must be able to work as a team and communicate effectively.

The ability to understand business data in databases and the ability to report and manipulate that data using SQL is desired.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain existing Syteline ERP system and assist users with daily tasks.

• Assist in troubleshooting encountered issues with existing business systems

• Create and Maintain SQL reports and object oriented programs to address changing business needs.

• Use of database tools such as Microsoft SQL to analyze and troubleshoot systems issues

• Create and maintain documentation and user instructions on all business systems

• Act as a team member to upgrade and modernize business systems and software where needed

• Report on current projects, issue status reports, and account for time spent on tasks.

• Seek improvements in business efficiency and develop technical solutions.

• Contribute to team tasks and departmental goals

• Seek personal improvement and growth while training the user community on new and existing systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• Basic knowledge of SQL and Object-Oriented scripting languages

• Basic experience with website coding (HTML & Ajax)

• Exposure to ERP systems such as Syteline, MS Dynamics, or other equivalents

• Exposure to reporting and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Teams

• Basic understanding of business organization concepts.

• Good planning and organization skills.

• Good verbal and written communications skills.

• Good Analytical skills

• Ability to participate as a team member in cross-functional teams.
