SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The IT Applications Support Analyst II provide key IT application support, as well as maintenance and user training for medical applications including oncology information systems, PACS, radiation treatment planning system and electronic medical records systems within multiple clinical environments. In addition, the IT Applications Support Analyst II will be responsible for consulting with users to define detailed requirements for future software implementations, analyze business needs, consider current and future business implications, translate functional into technical requirements, validate solutions, and drive business process improvement efforts.
Clinical application support for users including implementation and training.
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with 3rd party vendors.
Update clinical application training manuals and documentation.
Management of clinical application configuration for unique customer needs.
Analysis, testing and validating fixes and enhancements of existing and proposed clinical applications.
Generate Ad hoc reports upon request.
Gathering user requirements and documenting.
Other duties as assigned or requested.
Participate in and support a team-oriented working environment that promotes a high level of personal commitment and accountability and a continued focus on quality and efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or combination of education and experience. 5+ years of directly related experience.
Technical support with healthcare/medical applications.
Good oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff and customers.
Experience with EMR, RIS and PACS required.
Elekta Mosaiq® configuration and management experience highly desired.
