Qualified candidate will be providing support to the In Service Engineering Activities (ISEA) engineers in designing systems, developing new hardware configurations, testing hardware configurations to ensure hardware meets design criteria, updating system design documentation and providing technical support to users.
Responsibilities and Duties
Working in a Lab Environment responsibilities are primarily focused on designing, testing implementing, troubleshooting and developing new systems while supporting the ISEA engineer and the program office
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
5+ years of experience -
Demonstrated experience in the design and building of naval shipboard and ashore C4ISR hardware systems.
Experience with hardware technical specification development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving and analytical logical thinking
Demonstrated experience /knowledge in cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated experience /knowledge in edge computing and hardware architectures
Familiarity with CANES Agile Core Services (ACS)
Knowledge of the Navy tactical command Support System (NTCSS) and Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) and logistics support a plus
BS Post Secondary Degree
Must have a AWS Solutions Architect Certification or Azure Solutions Architect Certification
Qualification in DevOps and build/release methodologies
