Position Overview and Responsibilities

Protos is seeking a Regional Sales Director to join its team in the AZ, CO, NM, and UT markets. The Regional Sales Director of Remote Video Guarding will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and managing new client relationships focused on remote video guarding. Major duties include prospecting, cold calling, designing/specifying technical camera systems, selling new accounts, upgrading/cross-selling existing accounts, and providing superior customer service and support. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Establish a network of customer and industry relationships to drive business growth
  • Increase sales and brand recognition within the defined territory by making cold calls by phone and in person
  • Educate new and existing clients about company products and services
  • Design, specify, and sell video surveillance systems, including remote video guarding
  • Network and build relationships with the new and existing client base
  • Deliver strategic sales presentations and develop innovative proposals
  • Negotiate with clients and partners
  • Provide clear communication to sales support and operations
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports, including forecasts and activities
  • Maintain and update customer information using Salesforce
  • Prioritize strategies to ensure maximum profitability
  • Maintain client relationships at senior management levels
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Salesforce CRM
  • Minimum of 5 years of outbound sales experience with at least 2 years in SaaS related products
  • Experience selling commercial/enterprise-wide access control and video surveillance systems, IP CCTV systems, wireless networks, and/or intrusion detection systems into the multifamily, commercial, industrial, and retail verticals
  • Entrepreneurial drive and desire to build sales in a particular region/territory
  • Experience managing an aggressive quota
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must reside within the Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO area

Position Type Full-time, Exempt

Travel Travel is expected at least 50% of the year. A valid Driver’s License is required.
