Position Tittle: Direct Hire Production Supervisor

Shift: 1st shift

Location: San Bernardino

Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate:  $30 to $35 per hr. DOE

Job Details:

The Production Superintendent provides day-to-day on floor leadership utilizing lean manufacturing principles and production management expertise to maintain and improve process efficiency and flow, improve product quality and reduce cost. This role works closely with the Director of Engineering to streamline and blueprint the manufacturing process, optimize process efficiency, improve product quality and reduce cost.
 

• Ensure daily/weekly/monthly production needs (safety, quality, schedule, cost) are met through proper planning and execution.
• Ensure all manufacturing documentation is in place, controlled and maintained.
• Ensure development of personnel to effectively operate in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Process adherence in all facets of all manufacturing functions
• Implement and refine lean manufacturing methodology in production area design, facilitation and implementation.
• Developing and applying metrics to drive productivity and continuous improvement throughout the operations through employee engagement.
• Regular monitoring of operator and process performance, process flow, defect analysis and resolution.
• Work with cross functional teams to solve technical process and defect issues
