HR and Licensing Coordinator

Job Description
Salary: $47,500-$60,000

We are seeking a full time HR and Licensing Coordinator role, based out of our Ridgewood regional office to support the growing needs or our company. There are regulations that must be adhered to and in this role you will help support our team in guiding our licensees through the onboarding, renewal and termination process.  Additionally as our company grows, we will be looking for high quality candidates to take our company to new heights and you will help support that goal as well as other general HR responsibilities. Furthermore, we find value in developing and appreciating our team, of which you will be an active member in helping to coordinate our education, events and recognition programs. 



Licensing Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that PPSIR is compliant with the NJ Real Estate Commission (NJREC) as you add, remove, and transfer agents to our active and referral brokerage. You’ll kick off the onboarding process, and maintain agent’s pertinent information, in our HRIS.
  • Lead the renewal of the brokerage and agents licenses during the NJREC open renewal period. 
  • in-house expert in processing new licensee applications, processing agent terminations, and the agent onboarding process as a whole. 
  • Produce monthly reports for Leadership.


Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the VP of HR on recruiting, employee relations, learning and professional development initiatives
  • Assist in the new hire onboarding process and welcome packages. 
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System, help with creation of job descriptions
  • Understand and be able to explain company policies 
  • Assist in Department of Labor Inquires
  • Benefits Administration and open enrollment
  • Assist in processing and supporting payroll
  • Ad-hoc HR projects 


Education and Events Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and maintaining a company learning calendar, holidays, events, etc
  • Work with other stakeholders on guest list, collaborate with marketing on materials and invites
  • Be present, when required, at events to assist in registration, setup and breakdown


Awards and Recognition Program Responsibilities

  • Ordering organizing promotional materials, creating welcome packages
  • Coordinate Birthday, Anniversary, Special recognition gifts
  • Organize and verify Circle of Excellence Winners
  • Create and order awards list for Annual Company Meeting 
  • Share data with 3rd party and corporate for industry rankings
  • Execute on new recognition programs developed by senior management

 


Qualifications/Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in HR or administrative work
  • Passionate about supporting people and skill improvement 
  • Prior real estate industry experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a team and individually 
  • Ability to travel to company events and regional offices
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills 
  • Highly organized and detail oriented 
  • Open to new ideas and can learn quickly 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Works with a sense of urgency and feels pride in their work
  • Oriented around building processes that increases efficiency and quality 
  • High-level of discretion and confidentiality 
  • Proficient in modern digital tools such as G-Suite, Asana, Dropbox, Slack, Email Marketing etc.
