PRG is seeking a talented, experienced, and driven Construction Project Manager to join our team to lead cable and fiber construction projects. The Project Manager (Construction PM) serves as a liaison between management, the network organization, and/or vendors in order to provide solutions to meet client needs. Possesses expertise in the telecom/cable industry well as an understanding of its systems and capabilities. You will play a critical role in a major network expansion including the buildout of a new fiber plant, hub, and headend.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Lead business process design and documentation as needed.
  • Create workflows and convey findings in PowerPoint presentations and Visio
  • Write and own functional and technical business requirements from end-to-end
  • Support Project Management and the development of project plans, using associated project planning tools as needed.
  • Analyze business operations to determine opportunities for improvement and to automate processes and functions
  • Support the integration of new products and services, regulatory requirements, tools, and technologies in existing operations
  • Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business units and technical solution teams from initial requirements to final implementation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and testing to assess the cost/benefit, efficiency, and technical viability of solutions to business problems.

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Must possess expertise in the telecom/cable
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Working knowledge of cable television operations and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present performance feedback effectively
  • Excellent presentation skills with small- to medium-sized groups
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with MS Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience

Related Work Experience

  • 3+ years experience in Business Analysis with experience in process documentation, requirements gathering, product development, and project implementation
  • Strategic, proactive, critical thinker; able to uncover weaknesses in policies and procedures and suggest areas of improvement
  • Detail-oriented; ability to analyze business objectives and goals on an investigative level
