General Accountability

An Education Coordinator is responsible for educating patients about the TULSA Procedure. The Education Coordinator will manage communication to generate patient awareness, provide education, and enable patient access. The Education Coordinator will also work closely with the Clinical Genius team to provide patient education and access to the TULSA Procedure.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, respond to, and follow up with patient and physician inquiries from the website, social media, phone-in, and in-person.
  • Educate patients and answer patient questions about the TULSA procedure.
  • Provide patients with access to resources such as print and online educational collateral, upcoming educational opportunities, procedure payment options and more.
  • Establish and execute continued follow up plan for all patient inquiries, including website inquiries, phone inquiries, and those who have attended patient education seminars and other events.
  • Establish and execute follow up procedures.
  • Obtain patient references and reviews, including patient experience testimonials.
  • Maintain and present results and reports of all inquiries from initial contact to post-procedure follow up.
  • Identify and report any barriers to patient access or the need to improve/create new educational resources for patients or providers.
  • All other duties as assigned which contribute to enabling patient access and increasing education of the TULSA Procedure.


  • Bachelors Degree, Medical Background Preferred
  • Prefer RN, LPN, NP

  • Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Data entry, including Excel
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects
  • Relevant training and/or experience
