The Mental Health Therapist is a part-time staff member of a multidisciplinary team in a NYS OASAS Part 822 Outpatient Substance Abuse Clinic and Mental Health Agency. The will provide direct individual counseling under the direction of the Program Manager.

DUTIES: Carries a caseload • Formulates diagnostic impressions and demonstrates competency in determining the appropriate approaches to treatment• Coordinates implementation of therapeutic interventions and documents the client's progress. • Keeps clinical treatment records and other documentation • Participates in weekly staff meetings • Communicates well with clients & the professional community • Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
QUALIFICATIONS: LCSW, LMFT and LMHC. Has excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and organization skills; and ability to work independently with a high level of professionalism. Candidate must be proficient with basic computer applications and keyboarding skills. Must be a team player and able to relate well with other staff members.
