Productive Resources (www.pr-engservices.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity for professional growth and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
- Create Day to Day work packets and track for satisfactory closure for performance and quality.
- Lead and capture motor controller performance specifications and translate customer needs to design specifications.
- Closely work with customer design leads and end users to understand product (Motor Controller) performance needs through physical workshops. These are around the ongoing manufacturing process and change management-related needs.
- Collaborate with internal team members to build and validate solutions. Plan and lead monthly hardware development /release cycles and work alongside customer engineering teams to install solution updates.
- Lead hardware and functional safety architecture planning and drive implementation using globally located teams
- Lead hardware project management & reviews
- Lead hardware engineering review and guidance
- Evaluate and approve hardware development tools for the project delivery
- Plan, establish and implement the hardware design of motor controllers
- Review and finalizes documents relating to regulatory standards.
- Hardware issue management and resolution
- Hardware design: Complete hardware product life cycle experience from the requirement to the validation phase.
Requirements:
- Experience in power electronics, EMI EMC and ac / dc , high/low voltage motor controller design
- Experienced and responsible for functionally safe hardware design for PM dc motor and 3-phase motor invertor which includes requirement engineering, architecture design, development, testing, failure analysis, and validation; as well responsible for product compliance functional safety certification work activities.

- Developing framework, processes, and procedures required to ensure successful management and tracking as part of a portfolio and the update of deliverables within the constraints of scope, time, risk, quality, and client satisfaction
- Experience in engaging and managing third parties including offshore resources.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, etc.)
