Productive Resources ( ) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in East Moline, Illinois.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Work closely with other engineers and technicians.
• Setting/optimizing combines.
• Performing full system tests on combines
  • Collecting/analyzing grain tank samples
  • Dropping loss pans/processing sample/measuring loss
  • Taking CAN logs
  • Collecting/processing EDAQ data (torques/speeds
  • Writing field reports/drawing conclusions/making recommendations
  • Presenting reports in meetings
  • Customer interactions
• Field test site logistics/planning.
• Field development
  • Changing parts /developing new solutions.
  • Fabrication of test parts.
  • Design of new test parts in Creo.
• Automation testing
  • Performance testing of automated systems
• Test equipment design projects
  • New test methods development.
  • New equipment and improvements of existing test equipment.
  • Creo design work -3D modeling.
• Standardized procedures/documentation
  • Follow standardized test procedures.
  • Create and document new test procedures.

Requirements:

• B. S. in Ag engineering/Mechanical engineering/ Ag Mech.
• Familiarity with farm equipment.
• Field testing experience.
• Hands on work with mechanical/electrical systems.
• Adaptability - learns quickly.
• Great attitude and willingness to learn.
• Willing/able to extensively travel and work in challenging conditions.
• Work well in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with combines - operating/optimizing/repairing.
• Data collection experience.
• Data analysis experience.
• Creo - 3D modeling experience.
