We are looking for a logistics coordinator! Bonus points if speak and write Korean!
- Track the assigned supplier’s ship status.
Report supplier short ship immediately and take immediate action to prevent production down.
Release material order for assigned suppliers based on customer demands, production schedule, in-house and transit inventory.
Confirm material receipt and submit the supplier invoice to MRP (Plex) within a week from material receipt date.
Request material receipt if it is delayed by in-house or external warehouse team.
Report immediately if the supplier’s part price mismatch from the PO price.
Release weekly or monthly pick up schedule to the freight service provider.
Confirm pick up schedule from the freight service provider.
Track engineer change and set breakpoint for new material.
Report supplier quality issue immediately and take immediate action to prevent production down.
Follow up supplier’s response to QIS (Quality alert).
Attend engineering change management and quality issue follow up meeting.
Track the inventory turnover.
Follow all non-conforming product procedures issued by quality department. Be active member to find root cause for all failed parts.
Take necessary action to meet given inventory turnover target.
Follow all safety policies for KJA, report any potential safety issues or concerns to supervisor or any member of management.
Assure compliance for all company policies and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education -- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related
- Has to understand Supply Chain
Experience in shipping and receiving: plus
Experience on EDI: Delfor, Deljit: plus
Maintain good relations with workers and supervisors
All other tasks as requested by Management
Negotiate with transportation providers to obtain best rates and service
Provide support to other warehouse Teams as needed & interact with other departments to respond to their needs
